Pathogenic CDH1 variants were reported to convey a lifetime risk (until the age of 80 years) of diffuse gastric cancer in the range from 37% to 70% in men and 25% to 83% in women; the average age of gastric cancer diagnosis ranged from 38 to 80 years, with the earliest reported diagnosis made at age 14 years [10,11,22,23,24].
