We found that all the recurrent tumor samples shared only the RN7SL1 gene, whereas those non-recurrent only the RN7SL2 (see also Table S3), which encode for two subunits of the cytoplasmic complex named RNA component of signal recognition particles, stressing the intrinsic heterogeneity of the GH-secreting PitNET samples. Here, RN7SL1 is linked to neoplasm.
