In addition to conventional pharmacotherapy like antidepressants, antipsychotics, antiepileptics, adrenergic blockers etc., neuropeptides, such as corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), vasopressin (AVP), oxytocin (OXY), and neuropeptide Y (NPY), have been suggested as a potential novel therapy for PTSD.
