NPPB and nephritis: In the SLE group, patients with previous nephritis and/or pericarditis tended to have higher hs-cTnI levels (3.53 pg/mL vs. 2.78 pg/mL, p = 0.126) and NT-proBNP levels (170 ± 100 pg/mL vs. 148 ± 100 pg/mL, p = 0.293) than complication-free counterparts, but those differences did not reach statistical significance.
