A previous analysis of the kallikrein-related peptidase family in CRC tumor samples from the TCGA database revealed that KLK6 overexpression in human tumors is associated with the overexpression of other members of the kallikreins protease family, i.e., KLK7, KLK8, and KLK10 [18]. Here, KLK7 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
