We further examined how the intestine-specific Klk6 gene inactivation affects the Apc-mutant tumorigenesis by measuring the number, the size, and the histological grade of the adenomas in the small intestines and colons of CPC;Apcfl/fl;Klk6+/+ animals with the wild-type Klk6 gene (CPC;Apcfl/fl;Klk6+/+) and in animals with heterozygous (CPC;Apcfl/fl;Klk6+/fl) or homozygous (CPC;Apcfl/fl;Klk6fl/fl) deletion of the gene.
