Further, utilizing the data in the CPTAC-TCGA datasets containing 364 TCGA cancer samples, we also detected eEF2K and eEF2 protein phosphorylation site in different cancer types (Fig. 2B and Supplementary Fig. S1B) and analyzed the changes of eEF2K and eEF2 protein phosphorylation levels (Fig. 2C, Supplementary Fig. S1C and Table 1). The gene discussed is EEF2; the disease is cancer.
