However, considering the initial borderline associations, the frequencies of ACE I/D genotypes in A, B1, and C groups, the relation of ACE DD and DI and AGTR1 rs5186 +1166 AA genotypes with reduced LVEF, and the progressive nature of Chagas’ heart disease, we consider that the ACE and AGTR1 genes are candidates to be explored in precision medicine. The gene discussed is AGTR1; the disease is heart disorder.
