Another Japanese research group revealed that germline pathogenic mutations in the nine genes of the HR gene family (APC, ATM, BRCA1, BRCA2, CDH1, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, and PALB2) are associated with the risk of GC in Japanese patients treated at the Aichi Cancer Center Hospital Epidemiology Research Program, Nagoya, Achi, Japan [17,27,28,29,30]. This evidence concerns the gene PALB2 and gastric cancer.
