Neutrophils (PMNs) were identified as CD11b+Ly6G+ and were further gated based on staining for presence of H3Cit and plasma membrane permeability (Live/Dead stain) as depicted in Figure 5A. During infection, WT neutrophils displayed higher frequency of NETosis compared with THP-KO mice (Figure 5B). Here, ITGAM is linked to infection.
