FMR1 and Parkinson disease: The fact that the median for PD PR score becomes significantly higher for the group comprising various forms of neurological involvement versus asymptomatic category, instead of the “diagnosable” FXTAS only category compared with the “non‐FXTAS” category suggests that the syndromic and non‐syndromic forms may reflect a continuation of neurodegenerative process linked to the FMR1 premutation allele, with the age‐ and individual‐dependent diverse final outcomes.
