The ROC curve analysis revealed that the predictive accuracy of ADAM8 levels in nasal secretions, with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.819 (P < 0.001), was superior to that of peripheral blood eosinophil count (AUC = 0.614, P = 0.032), blood eosinophil percentage (AUC = 0.562, P = 0.245), serum total IgE levels (AUC = 0.546, P = 0.387), and FnNO (AUC = 0.525, P = 0.634) for the CRSwNP endotypes (Figure 4). The gene discussed is ADAM8; the disease is chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.
