CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: The chi-square test was used to compare categorical variables: Disease duration (≥ 10 years), RA severity (DAS28 ≥ 5.1), C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and treatment regimens (DMARDs, Biologics, Corticosteroid use); an independent t-test was applied for comparing normally distributed continuous variables: Disease Duration (mean years), RA Severity (DAS28 scores), CRP, and ESR (mean values); the Mann-Whitney U test was applied for non-normally distributed variables; and statistical significance is indicated by a p-value less than 0.05.
