APOB and benign prostatic hyperplasia: Among the biomarkers of lipid profile, cholesterol (HR = 0.88; 95% CI = 0.87–0.89, P < 0.001), apolipoprotein A (HR = 0.75; 95% CI = 0.70–0.80, P < 0.001), apolipoprotein B (HR = 0.64; 95% CI = 0.60–0.68, P < 0.001), HDL (HR = 0.77, 95% CI = 0.74–0.81, P < 0.001), LDL (HR = 0.86; 95% CI = 0.85–0.88, P < 0.001), and triglycerides (HR = 0.98; 95% CI = 0.97–0.99, P < 0.001) exhibited negative associations with the incidence of BPH.
