IGF1 and benign prostatic hyperplasia: The HDL (HRQ4 vs. Q1 = 0.87; 95% CI = 0.83–0.91), apolipoprotein A (HRQ4 vs. Q1 = 0.86; 95% CI = 0.83–0.90) and gamma glutamyltransferase (HRQ4 vs. Q1 = 0.93; 95% CI = 0.88–0.97) demonstrate a protective effect against the incidence of BPH, while IGF-1 (HRQ4 vs. Q1 = 1.07; 95% CI = 1.03–1.12) on the contrary.
