Our results showed that in patients with SLE, elevated anti-dsDNA antibody level was associated with decreased VMHC in the insula and parahippocampal gyrus, and higher level of anti-β2GP1 antibody was correlated with lower connectivity in the bilateral insula and more pronounced grey matter atrophy in the left insula. The gene discussed is APOH; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
