As for Hippo pathway components, multiple LOF mutations were revealed for Hippo pathway kinases in different types of human cancers (Fig. 2g); only one LOF mutation was uncovered for MOB1A and MOB1B each in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC) (Fig. 2f); and the NF2 LOF mutations were identified in meningioma and schwannoma patients (Fig. 2f) consistent with previous findings20,21. The gene discussed is NF2; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
