MR studies have reported that ACE inhibitors may increase the risk of colorectal cancer [39], BBs may increase the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma [42], and CCBs may increase the risk of prostate cancer [41], but meta-analysis of RCTs generally reported null association of different classes of antihypertensive drugs with different types of cancer [55, 64]. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and prostate cancer.
