To elucidate the potential role of Hsp90α in the pathogenesis of renal fibrosis, co‐immunofluorescence with Hsp90α (red) and HMGB1 (green) revealed that little Hsp90α was detected in the kidneys of sham rats or control mice, and HMGB1 was mainly located in TECs nuclei (Figure 6E). The gene discussed is HMGB1; the disease is renal fibrosis.
