LM49 targets the N‐terminal ATP pocket of heat shock protein 90 alpha family class A member 1 and reduces the interaction of heat shock protein 90 alpha family class A member 1 with HMGB1, thereby further blocking HMGB1 nuclear–cytoplasmic translocation and activation, which provides theoretical evidence supporting the application of LM49 in the prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease. Here, HMGB1 is linked to chronic kidney disease.
