Studies have shown that ZDHHC17 is upregulated in GBM and interacts with MAP2K4 through its N-terminal signal transduction and protein-protein interaction ankyrin domain, forming a signaling module that activates the JNK/p38 pathway, thereby regulating the malignant development and progression of GBM (Chen et al., 2020b).
