Patients in the warfarin group were less likely to: have transposition of great arteries and mitral atresia; have undergone pulmonary artery banding and surgeries using arterial patches; have received loop diuretics, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, and other β blockers than bisoprolol and carvedilol; and have a history of bleeding events. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and mitral atresia disorder.
