Both OTUB1 and USP8 had been reported to promote tumorigenesis in NSCLC cells, in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell lines, OTUB1/USP8-IN-1 is a potent dual inhibitor of OTUB1 and USP8, reduced their substrate levels of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 N (UBE2N) and EGFR [96], and then inhibit the proliferation of NSCLC cells. This evidence concerns the gene OTUB1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
