Our results, obtained from analysis of IDC tumors showed positive, signiffcance correlation of CHI3L2 expression level and pSTAT-3, and this findings are in line with results obtained from functional in vitro experiments with BT-549 cells, suggesting for the first time regulation role of STAT-3 activation in this type of breast cancer tumors. This evidence concerns the gene CHI3L2 and breast carcinoma.
