To demonstrate the functions of EphrinB2 through the CDK5/ISL1/VEGFR3 signaling pathway in enhancing lymphangiogenesis and exerting cardioprotective effects after acute myocardial infarction (MI), the VEGFR3 inhibitor MAZ51 was applied in vivo (supplementary Fig 13a). This evidence concerns the gene ISL1 and myocardial infarction.
