To demonstrate the functions of EphrinB2 through the CDK5/ISL1/VEGFR3 signaling pathway in enhancing lymphangiogenesis and exerting cardioprotective effects after acute myocardial infarction (MI), the VEGFR3 inhibitor MAZ51 was applied in vivo (supplementary Fig 13a).
