GLP1R and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Microalbuminuria prevalence in patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes was 21.7%; this prevalence decreased across AUC GLP-1 level quartiles (27.4%, 25.3%, 18.9%, and 15.8%). After adjusting for multiple factors, patients in the highest quartile of AUC GLP-1 had a lower risk of microalbuminuria compared to those in the lowest quartile.
