MCM5 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: When compared with the significantly differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in BLCA from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, we observed that members of replicative CDC45-MCM2-7-GINS (CMG) helicases complex, including minichromosome maintenance protein 2 (MCM2) [18], MCM4 [19], MCM5 [20], MCM6 [21], and cell division cycle protein 45 (CDC45) [22], which are involved in regulating cell proliferation and prognosis in bladder cancers, were enriched (Supplementary Fig. S2A).
