SERTAD2 is also implicated in tumorigenesis, as it is overexpressed in several cancers.33 SERTAD2 is considered to have significant prognostic value in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.34 Moreover, the positive correlation between SERTAD2 and the “neutrophil extracellular trap formation” pathway might involve the regulation or participation of the SERTAD2 gene in this biological pathway. Here, SERTAD2 is linked to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
