Among these, seven genes, namely SOCS3, RCN1, PDLIM1, PDIA3, MRPL36, MALSU1, and KDELR2, were significantly upregulated in GBM compared to normal brain tissues (Fig. 1C–I) and correlated with shortened OS (Fig. 1J–P). The gene discussed is RCN1; the disease is glioblastoma.
