Most cancers showed a significant decrease in SPARCL1 expression, including bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), thyroid carcinoma (THCA), uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (p < 0.001) and stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) (p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene SPARCL1 and squamous cell lung carcinoma.
