The three tested human GI adenocarcinoma cell lines HT29 (colorectal cancer), GC5023 (gastric cancer) and PaCa5061 (pancreatic cancer) commonly showed an increase in GCNT3 protein levels in the course of conventional in vitro cultivation (time points I to IV in Fig. 1) regardless of whether parental, control transduced (neg) or GCNT3 kd cells were considered (Fig. 1).
