However, no correlation between MTHFR polymorphisms and vitamin B12 was noted in our study, in contrast to the Jordanian study [23], which suggests a significant association was found between the homozygous MTHFR C677T variant and vitamin B12 deficiency in the Jordanian population (OR:1.684 (1.116-2.542), p:0.017). This evidence concerns the gene MTHFR and vitamin B12 deficiency.
