Nonetheless, by evaluating the increase in both antibodies to synaptopodin and annexin 1, we can enhance sensitivity to 85.7% and specificity of 81.2%, with an AUC of 0.862 (95% confidence interval [CI] 0.764-0.959) for the diagnosis of podocytopathies (MCD and FSGS comparing membranous nephropathy).
