These are disease-causing variants in one of the DNA mismatch repair genes (Lynch’s Syndrome), BRCA1 or BRCA2 (Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome), CDH1 (Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer), TP53 (Li-Fraumeni Syndrome), APC (Familial Adenomatous Polyposis) and STK11 (Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome), to mention a few associated with colorectal cancer, gastric cancer and/or prostate cancer [1–3]. Here, CDH1 is linked to Familial gastric cancer.
