HDAC1 and neuropathy: Previous studies showed that a single dose of oxaliplatin induced an increase in HDAC3 expression in DRG neurons while repeated doses failed to induce any transcriptional changes of class 1 HDACs (HDAC1, HDAC2 and HDAC3) in RNAseq analysis, although the class I HDAC inhibitor, MS-275, prevented oxaliplatin-induced neuropathy and reduced its related pain hypersensitivity [14,15].
