ALB and Shock: Regarding the differences in the means of main study variables, statistically significant differences were observed in the total bilirubin, serum creatinine, platelet count, PaO2/FiO2 ratio, mean arterial pressure, Glasgow Coma Scale score, SOFA score, and serum albumin level, across three study groups such as patients with sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock (p < 0.05).
