The results of studies have indicated that the incorporation of stem cells (iPSCs), anti‐inflammatory agents (aspirin, iPSCs, and SDF‐1), antibacterial agents (SAMP), and osteoinductive agents (EPO, BMP‐6, PDLSCs, platelet‐derived growth factor‐BB [PDGF‐BB], and SDF‐1) can highly influence the clinical impact of thermosensitive hydrogels in in vivo periodontitis models. Here, EPO is linked to periodontitis.
