NF-κB, made up of p65 and p50 proteins, has the capacity to regulate the expression of a variety of genes that are enrolled in the cellular response to external stimuli (26), thus promoting the production of interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-4 (IL-4), Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), and other essential pro-inflammatory factors, resulting in the emergence of psoriasis. Here, NFKB1 is linked to psoriasis.
