The FLAURA trial demonstrated that osimertinib had superior efficacy compared to standard EGFR-TKIs as first-line therapy for EGFR-positive (Exon 19 deletion or Exon 21 L858R mutation) NSCLC, for which 19% of patients, treated with Osimertinib, had intracranial (IC) metastases when enrolled (46). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
