The accumulation of FoxP3+ Tregs, especially a relatively high ratio of Tregs: T effector cells (Teffs), is often associated with a poor prognosis in many tumors, including ovarian cancer (65, 66), lung cancer (67), glioblastoma (68), melanoma and other malignancies (69, 70). The gene discussed is FOXP3; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
