BRAF fusions account for approximately 0.3% of all cancers, about 3%–4% in melanomas, around 0.3% in pancreatic cancers, and approximately 20% in KRAS wild-type pancreatic cancers and pancreatic acinar cell carcinomas, while in pilocytic astrocytomas they represent over 50%.45 This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and pancreatic neoplasm.
