We also noted glial tau in 35% in a previous epilepsy post‐mortem study [9], non‐glial cortical tau granular aggregates in 15% in a TLE surgical series [6], and in the current series, the later were also noted with epileptogenic lesions warranting further characterisation of their relationship and cellular origin in both traumatic lesions and epilepsy. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and epilepsy.
