CRP and pericarditis: Myopericarditis was associated with increased levels of troponin I, D-dimers and high sensitivity CRP (hsCRP). Oxidative stress index (TOS/TAS*),90,91 and NO levels were lower in myopericarditis group compared to acute-pericarditis and control groups, indicating an inflammatory and pro-coagulant condition in the myopericarditis.17
