Immunofluorescent staining of tumor tissues from mice demonstrated that compared to the control group, the level of cytochrome C was significantly increased in the melittin treatment group (p < 0.001), with the fluorescence intensity in the high-dose group being 9.3-fold that of the control group (Figure 5A), suggesting enhanced expression and release of Cytochrome C from mitochondria in response to melittin treatment.
