Based on previous reports showing that IL17 and IL1β both worsen glucose intolerance [16,19], together with our findings that IL17-producing γδ T cells and IL1β-producing neutrophils are dramatically reduced in the adipose tissues of SRG3β-actin B10.PL mice, it will be interesting to investigate how crosstalk between γδ T cells and neutrophils (i.e., γδ T cell-neutrophil axis) contributes to regulating immune responses in adipose tissues. The gene discussed is IL1B; the disease is Glucose intolerance.
