Aberrant overexpression of NTR1 is also detected in the majority of solid cancers and cancer cell lines, including when it is absent or very weakly expressed in corresponding normal tissues, as in breast cancer [19,21], colon cancer [22], pancreatic cancer [18], prostate adenocarcinoma [23], and non-small-cell lung cancer [20]. This evidence concerns the gene NTSR1 and breast carcinoma.
