HOXB9 and endometrial cancer: Furthermore, the results from the TCGA database, which were primarily analyzed using web-based databases, interactive gene expression profiling analysis (“GEPIA, (accessed on 12 April 2017)” http://gepia.cancer-pku.cn/) and the “LinkedOmics database (accessed on 7 November 2017) (http://www.linkedomics.org), showed that the HOXB9 expression was significantly elevated in endometrial cancer tissues compared to normal tissues, and the increased level of HOXB9 expression corresponds to the decrease in the overall survival in endometrial cancer.
