The right pleural effusion on the chest CT 2 months postoperatively did not worsen (Fig. 3a); and no fever or elevated inflammatory response was observed (WBC, 4710/μL; Neut, 84.5%; CRP, 0.21 mg/dL), the infection was considered controlled, and the oral vancomycin was discontinued.
