CDX2 and cancer: Although CDX2 has been suggested as an indicator of a poor outcome for CRC in general, a bioinformatics approach (after meta-analysis of data sourced from 367 patients in the Cancer Diagnosis Program of the National Cancer Institute (NCI-CDP), 1519 patients from the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), and 321 patients from Tissue Microarray Database (TMAD) from Stanford USA [33] proposed that CDX2 may be a suitable marker for the prognosis of CRC-II.
