Even at the same stage of progression, the prognoses of typical endometrioid carcinoma and aggressive histologic carcinoma differ significantly, making it easier to predict prognosis using the new FIGO 2023 stage classification. DNA polymerase ε (POLE), mismatch repair (MMR), and p53 are important molecular subtypes that affect staging and prognostic prediction [3], but since this is a multicenter study based on data from 2003, the POLE, MMR, and p53 molecular subtypes were not analyzed. The gene discussed is MRC1; the disease is endometrioid adenocarcinoma.
