The aim of this study was to evaluate effects of replacing refined wheat cereals with wholegrain rye cereals within a complex diet on gut hormones that are relevant in reflecting postprandial appetite response: glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), peptide tyrosine tyrosine (PYY), ghrelin and blood glucose control in individuals with overweight and obesity. Here, GHRL is linked to obesity disorder.
