Intriguingly, we observed that unconjugated liposomes required a 100-fold higher dose than P-selectin-conjugated liposomes (10 ng in P-selectin liposomes versus 1000 ng in unconjugated liposomes) to achieve a similar, but less effective, therapeutic outcome in reducing plasma ALT levels (Figure 9D) and alleviating thrombocytopenia (Figure 9E) in TAA-treated mice.
