To further verify that TECPR1 improved cognitive ability by enhancing autophagosomes degradation, we injected AAV‐TECPR1‐3 × FLAG virus into the hippocampus of 8‐month‐old P301S‐tau mice, administered chloroquine (CQ) for 15 days by intraperitoneal injection to inhibit autophagosomes and lysosomes fusion at 15th day after virus injection and conducted cognitive related behavioral tests 1 month after virus infection (Figure 6l). Here, TECPR1 is linked to viral infectious disease.
